Maritime Leaders to Tackle Trade, Tech
Senior industry leaders will gather in Singapore to discuss the impact of shifting trade flows, geopolitics, investment, AI, and automation on the maritime industry. The TOC Asia 2026 event, taking place at Marina Bay Sands on November 10-11, 2026, aims to address the central question: “Where is the growth?”
Exploring Asia’s supply chain challenges
Under the theme “Conflict, Commerce & (Dis)Connectivity… Where is the growth?”, the event will feature two conference tracks: CSC Live and TECH TOC. These tracks will look into the commercial, operational, and technological forces shaping Asia’s supply chains.
CSC Live will examine the changing business world, including the global freight outlook, emerging logistics corridors, port investment, and the future of ocean freight contracting. Discussions will focus on corridors like the International North-South Transport Corridor, SASEC, and the Middle Corridor.
Technology and automation take center stage
The TECH TOC program will highlight the infrastructure and technologies required for the next generation of high-performance ports and terminals. Topics include future-proof port design, automation roadmaps, digital optimization, intelligent maintenance, and AI.
Speakers from companies like DP World, Kalmar, and Busan New Container Terminal will share their insights on how ports are utilizing AI to reduce dwell times and optimize vessel utilization.
The event will also explore investment opportunities across South Asia, port decarbonization, electrification, alternative fuels, and the development of sustainable port networks. With the maritime industry facing significant operational challenges, TOC Asia 2026 aims to provide practical solutions and innovative approaches to build resilient supply chains.
Notable speakers include Zhi-Lin Liu from Pacific International Lines, Soren Kofoed Jensen from APM Terminals, and Mark Hardiman from the Port of Tanjung Pelepas. They will join representatives from DP World, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, and other industry leaders to share their expertise.
